Cathy Kea: Chair

In addition to raising 3 children, Cathy has dedicated herself to volunteering. She is currently an active member of several philanthropic boards including the Southborough Community Fund and Algonquin Regional School committee. Cathy spends several hours each week doing volunteer work in food pantries and delivering meals to the elderly.

Shane Ward: Vice Chair

Shane Ward is a public company executive and licensed attorney, currently serving as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Legal Officer for Cidara Therapeutics, a biotechnology company discovering and developing conjugate therapeutics for infectious diseases and cancer.  He is also co-founder and board chair for Cas3 Biotherapeutics, a startup researching the use of Type I CRISPR gene editing to directly target cancer-associated mutations.  Shane previously held legal, strategy, and operations positions in commercial and pre-commercial biotechnology companies and an international law firm.  He holds degrees from the University of Virginia, Georgetown University Law Center, and the Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Business.  Shane has a teenage son on the Autism spectrum and his family has spent the last decade navigating special education regulations and bureaucracies in California and Massachusetts.  

Bob Kea: Treasurer

Bob is a Principal and Chief Investment Officer at Greenport Capital Advisors. Prior to GreenPort, he had a 28-year career in portfolio management where he was a founding member and Co-Head of Putnam’s Asset Allocation Group. Bob has been active in many charities including Hub Financial Charities.

Catherine Wright: Secretary

Catherine Wright is currently the Vice President of Product at Acceleration Point. Previously she worked as the Director of Product Development at Definitive Healthcare, a healthcare data and analytics company based in Framingham, MA. Catherine joined Definitive Healthcare as an analyst in 2014 and since that time, the company has quickly grown from 20 employees to over 350 employees.

Sue Valente: Trustee

Sue Valente has over 35 years of experience in senior finance leadership roles for several Fortune 500 companies and smaller organizations. She is a dedicated advocate for neurodiversity and inclusivity and brings a wealth of passion and experience from her commitment to supporting and empowerment within the Autism community. Her journey with Autism advocacy began when her son was diagnosed with Autism at age 2 and she brings her experience and insights as a parent and a family affected by Autism. Her son attended the Crossroads Continuum school for 13 years and now attends The Commons, the adult services program at Crossroads.

In 2022, Sue joined the Development team at the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism, where she brings her corporate and personal experiences to further the mission of the foundation. She holds an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Adelphi University and a bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York in Business Economics.

Greg Furst: Trustee

Greg Furst is a founding partner and Chief Revenue Officer of New England Applied Products, an engineering sales organization focused on commercial and industrial HVAC.  He has spent much of his career designing and selling systems for many of the major universities, hospitals, and developers in Boston and New England. 

Greg helped establish the New England Bike to the Beach charity bike ride in 2012, and also serves on their board. This 100-mile bike ride from Boston to Newport has raised over $1,000,000 for Autism charities and organizations, including Crossroads, and continues to grow every year.  Greg initially got involved in the ride because of two incredible friends — one who is on the spectrum and the other who has dedicated his career to supporting the cause.

Greg graduated from Lehigh University with a major in Mechanical Engineering. He lives in Newton, MA with his wife and two young boys. 

Vinnie Daboul: Trustee

Vinnie Daboul is Managing Director at RT Consulting, LLC, a leading privately held Human Capital Administration and Consulting firm known for its deep expertise in employee benefits. Vinnie has over 35 years of experience in Health & Welfare consulting.  

 Deeply involved in community service, he has held board and leadership roles with the Special Olympics of Massachusetts, Berkshire Hills Music Academy, and the Springfield Boys and Girls Club, among others. Vinnie earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and completed the Executive Program “Build for the Future” at the Richard Ivey School of Business in Toronto. 

Vinnie lives in Longmeadow, Massachusetts with his wife Mary.
