DID YOU KNOW?
1 in 44 children is diagnosed with autism.
Boys are four times more likely than girls to be diagnosed with autism.
Over the next decade, an estimated 707,000 to 1,116,000 teens (70,700 to 111,600 each year) will enter adulthood and age out of school based autism services.
Research demonstrates that job activities that encourage independence reduce autism symptoms and increase daily living skills.

Spenga Marlborough is hosting Crossroads Continuum for a 45-min spin ride where you work hard to get your heart rate into the “sweet spot zone” and then recover in the recovery zone. After the ride join us for the after party at 110 Grill for appetizers and you’ll have the opportunity to talk to some veteran Bike to the Beach riders.

SweatFixx Arlington- Sunday, April 10
SweatFixx Arlington is hosting a donation-based class for Crossroads Continuum. This station-based boot camp style class will let you push yourself with equipment such as battle ropes, rowers, kettlbells and more. Get ready to test your strength working exercises for 45 seconds intervals - open to all levels of fitness!

Ben is leaf blowing in headphones.
According to his mom, the best part of this isn’t the tidy yard, but that he can now wear any kind of headphones! His Home Services team worked him on wearing his headphones while watching Elmo on the IPAD and now he can even wear headphones while doing noisy chores!!

Lily met Sparky at the Fire Station.
Lily has learned and grown exponentially since starting at Crossroads School. According to her parents, communication has been her biggest area of growth. She and her family were able to enjoy a fire station open house where she enjoyed engaging with the fire station mascot, Sparky!

Alex flew to Aruba for a family vacation.
Alex went on his first flight since he was three! This involved many COVID tests, lots of waiting, a 4.5 hour flight, and adjusting to a new setting. Everyone had a wonderful time and his family credits Crossroads Continuum staff for making it possible for Alex to experience a true family vacation.

Jack completed a 100-piece puzzle.
According to his proud parents, during a recent Home Services Session, Jack remained focused on a 100-piece puzzle. He worked on it for 40-minutes, continuing even after the session had ended and staff had left!
